This is a fundraising event featuring a delightful dinner, refreshing cocktails, and exciting opportunities to give back—including a silent auction, raffle, dessert dash, and more!
Each individual ticket purchased not only covers the fair market value of food and drinks for the evening but also provides a donation that funds one week’s worth of meals for an older adult in our community.

- Sponsor an Individual ($2,340 full year / $1,170 half year) – Provide meals and connection for an older adult.
- Appreciate Our Volunteers ($3,200) – Support the volunteers who make our mission possible.
- More Than a Meal Partner ($10,000 full year / $5,000 half year) – Fund essential services like medical supplies, pet food, and incontinence products.
- Fund a Route ($25,000 full year / $15,000 half year) – Cover food, supplies, and delivery for a dedicated route serving our community.

MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS 2025
Gift a Bouquet or Card: Spread Joy this Mother's Day!
Purchase a beautiful Blawesome bouquet to be delivered in Orange County or a fun pop-up card to be mailed to those who live outside our flower delivery area. Every bouquet and card purchased funds direct food costs for approximately one week's worth of meals for a Meals on Wheels recipient!
We are once again partnering with Blawesome, a Chapel Hill based flower farm and design studio that offers beautiful, locally grown, organic arrangements. Blawesome is owned and co-operated by a young man living with autism.

1. Purchase a Mother's Day bouquet (or two) for a special someone in your life. Each bouquet will come with a personalized message and note that a donation to MOWOCNC has been made in their honor. Bouquets will be delivered in Orange County on Saturday, May 10th by MOWOCNC volunteers.
2. Gift a bouquet or a pop-up card to a Meals on Wheels recipient! Every bouquet and card will come with a personalized card letting the recipient know a donation has been made to MOWOCNC in her/his/their honor.
3. For those who would like to spread joy to those who live beyond Orange County, consider purchasing a fun pop-up mother's day card with a message sharing that a donation has been made to MOWOCNC in their honor. We will include a personalized message from you and place it in the mail in time for delivery by Mother's Day!
All donations help reduce hunger and alleviate social isolation and loneliness through the delivery of nutritious meals to older adults, homebound adults, adults with disabilities and those convalescing, who do not have access to, or the ability to prepare, healthy meals.

Our fundraising goal of $130,000 will ensure our current recipients will maintain access to nutritious meals and friendly check-ins. Your donation will make an immediate impact. Every $9 donated funds another meal delivered + another connection made, and opens the door to beyond a meal services, including liquid nutrition, extra weekend meals, durable medical equipment, incontinence supplies, pet food and supplies, vet care, in-home vaccinations and more.

CH-C SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB RUBBER DUCK RACE
Dive into a day of fun and philanthropy at the Chapel Hill - Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club Rubber Duck Race on June 1, 2024! Sponsor rubber ducks that will race down the Eno River and win fun prizes! When sponsoring a duck, remember to choose MOWOCNC to ensure we receive acknowledgment and proceeds for the event's fundraising efforts!
