Honor/Memory
You can designate any gift in honor or memory. Please designate whether the gift is in honor or memory and include the the name and mailing address, to whom an acknowledgement should be sent. If you wish it to contain a personalized message in the acknowledgement, please include that information on the webform (if donating on-line) or as an attached note with the check.
Fund one day of delivery for $2500 and name that day in honor or memory of an individual, organization or business. Other giving levels available on our Donate page.
Monthly Giving
Monthly giving helps stabilize funding and supports our work throughout the year. To become a monthly donor, choose the monthly giving option on the donation form.
Multi-Year Pledges
Interested in helping MOWOCNC achieve consistent, sustainable funding? Make a multi-year pledge to MOWOCNC. You can make a 3-5 year commitment to MOWOCNC and pay annually. Contact development@mowocnc.org for more information.
Matching Gifts
Want to increase your impact? Many employers will match all or a portion of your contribution. Contact your Human Resources Department to learn about Matching Gifts Programs. State Employee Giving
If you are a state employee, you can donate via the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC). The SECC is run by and for North Carolina’s employees. It provides a convenient, efficient, and trusted way to give to causes important to our local communities, state, and world. All participating charities are vetted and meet standards of charitable accountability for giving. Please look for code 3849. We are listed as "Meals on Wheels Chapel Hill Carrboro".
Qualified Charitable Distribution
You can support MOWOCNC directly from your IRA, through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Gifts may be transferred directly from your IRA to MOWOCNC in order to qualify as a tax-free transfer. Please reach out to your financial planner for guidance on how to make this type of gift.

You can choose to support specific programs or services MOWOCNC offers. Established funds include:
Sharon's Shakes: All donations directed towards Sharon's Shakes will fund liquid nutrition (Ensure/Boost) for recipients. This fund honors the memory of a wonderful volunteer and long-time board member of MOWOCNC Sharon Bushnell.
MOWOCNC Loves Pets!: All donations directed towards MOWOCNC Loves Pets! will fund pet food and supplies as well as vet care to support recipients' efforts to care for their beloved companions.

Fundraising Events
